Anchor Moving & Storage assists The Giving Tree

Gwynedd Valley, PA 19437 – March 2016 – Anchor Moving and Storage successfully contributed to The Giving Tree Helping Hands Project 2016 by delivering uplifting packages of assorted contents to various locations throughout the Philadelphia region.

The Giving Tree is a 501 © (3) non-profit organization dedicated to the charitable education for children. Founded in 2009, Bridget Leary has had a mission to cultivate charitable habits for children through hands-on projects rather than writing a check or providing a few canned goods. Her motto is to plants seeds of giving today by creating awareness in the minds of our children. Their most recent project was Helping Hands 2016, a package delivery service project. Recipients of these packages include homeless shelters and various Boys & Girls Club locations.

The Giving Tree consists of a team of volunteers to donate and sort the packages, but Anchor Moving & Storage has had the honor to take care of the logistical end of the project. As a NJ BBB A+ Accredited business and located in Moorestown, NJ, Anchor Moving & Storage has been trusted to ensure the prompt deliveries of the Helping Hands Project this past March.

The move entailed a pick up from The Giving Tree location in Gwynedd Valley, PA then to distribute to 15 various locations within Camden county, Philadelphia county, and Montgomery county. The project was successfully completed with a team of The Giving Tree members and Anchor Moving & Storage workers to spread the goodness to each recipient.
